The novel is more exciting than the movie , because you can imagine your characters at the novel, but in the movie they are giving the charactersto you .I had enjoyable times when ı was reading the novel. The novel's sad part is some children are dieing.This is so painful.Except the killing children the novel was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLord of the Flies by William Golding is one of the greatest novels but i can't say "I'm going to read this every year!"but i wish i could create various characters like him . In the beginning of the novel i really bored and i couldn't understand why this book is so important for us. But when i read a few chapters i realised there are lots of symbols from our lifes. To sum up; Lord of the Flies is a poverful novel.
ReplyDeleteThis was the worst book I've ever read.Events were unrelated to each other.I think I won't read another William Golding book after this story.I don't understand why people love this book and why it is so famous.
ReplyDeleteI've recently read the novel 'lord of the flies' by Wiliiam Golding. Lord of The Flies has a very impressive scenario. Symbolic side of the book was an another exciting issuse. I first said:'C'mon are we going to read those children survival story?' Then the book comprehended me. There are still questions I couldn't answered yet. İn my opinion this is the point that William Golding wants to do. This book become popular in a very short time period. The movie of the book made 13,985,225 domestically in 919 theathers from its 9,000,000 budget. I think it is a great achievement.
ReplyDeleteThis is wondefull book that shows us human’s sides. In the book we can see human’s sides, conflicts, obsessions. In the begginig no children could kill pig, but in the end of book; children tired to kill people. Killing an alive thing is very serious change for children. We can realize it. William Golding used different style for this novel. His style is good and he gives his main message clearly. He also used symbols . Because of symbols sometimes we can’t understand somethings about book. You should read this book carefully if you want to understand it. He also used unnecessary words. You will be confuse because of it. Briefly book is hard but you should read it for your knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI read the book named Lord Of The Flies written by William Golding.It's a marvellous book.It’s not a long novel but it includes a long story. The behaviour of the children in the book is written very well. Author really gave an adult view to the kids if children were left alone on a tropical island.The author really keeps you reading by the way. The book injects democracy, anarchism, team work into our mind and it shows how people become a wild, disgusting creature when there are no rules, no democracy etc.The author used a different way to show us the life setup.
ReplyDeleteLord of the flies was very distressing story that I've ever read.I like this book very much because the book was show us the real world and real people.I always sad:'Children are innocent.'but I understand it's not true.All people have beast inside of them. Some beast are active but some aren't.And I understand that nature can change people.First I didn’t want to read this book because it just a kid’s story for me but then when I read this book I felt so good and it was very exciting story.Because this book shows the wild world to us.It was perfect story but I don't like the clidren killed parts.I offer this book it was fascinating novel...I hope everyone will read this book.Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI think this book is an important to understand the real life.Writer William Golding wants to explain the life without any order to us.I think Golding achieved his goal with this book.I realized the rules are very necessary.According to Golding,the beast is inside us.He showed this by the kids on the island in the novel.I agree with him.If I had chance to change the book,I would change the Piggy's death because Piggy's death reminds me evil.If we look at all book,it is a perfect scenario.I read the book witohut boring.Book was very exciting.I am really happy for reading this book.
ReplyDeleteI’ve finished reading the novel named “Lord Of The Flies” which is written by William Golding. That was an exciting book, because it shows us the real life and how people become wild with the environmental effects on them. The innocent kids become wild in the island and the wildness of them increases and as the result they started to kill someone inside them. In real life, lots of people kill people around them and the wildness around them make it by the bad effects. Golding uses symbols when he tells the events and he also use symbols for the characters. He use sand castles, conch shell, signal fire for the ordered and organized life. He shows Simon as Jesus and the other indicates the different levels of the society.
ReplyDeleteI've finished reading the book named " Lord of the Flies " by William Anderson Golding. This book has a pretty amazing and an original scenario created by Mr. Golding. The Tv show " Lost " is a copy of this story. It is about an island and it is a survival story too. At first I had prejudices about this story however, when i started reading; it fade away. It's a popular story so it has a movie too but, there are some small differences between the movie and the book. The book has lots of conflicts and it shows us, how can a human can change under the harsh circumstances. It shows us how the innocents turn to murderers. The book has clever style so that u can finish reading it quickly. You don't notice the time while reading. Hours can pass easily. Well I suggest anyone to read this book. This book RULEZ !
ReplyDeleteI’ve recently read the novel “Lord of the Flies” by William Golding. This novel has an impressive scenario. It has a lot of symbols. However, sometimes I didn’t understand the symbols clearly and there are many questions that I didn’t find the answers about book. I think the author’s aim is this. The author used a different way to show us the real life. It’s not a long novel but it includes a long message. The book’s fiction is cleverly composed. In the beginning, it was hard to read the book. But the end of the book, I understood that why this book won the Nobel Prize.

ReplyDeleteWe were reading the renguin readers at the previous years and they are not thick like lord of the flies.Before start reading thats the first bad news for me.When i started the book the topic make me board.Its a survive history as we watch and know .I didnt want to read at the first time because of that reason but ‘’ i started to because i have to i wil responsable in the exam.When i pass the intro chapter it sharted to be more enjoyible.When i came to the mid chaper and read the climax i didnt chaced my ideas.I got bored from the topic but its a good topic for life it a realistic topic.I learned the importance of rules and badness of jealousy.
I couldnt say i didnt learned anythink from this book but i can say ‘’reading that book was boring’’.
I’ve finished reading the book named “Lord Of The Flies” written by William Golding. Lord of the flies is one of the most important book in literary set. This book is successful and exciting, because Golding talks about our real life. Helping with symbols, he tried to explain true events for us. If you want to understand this book, you must solve the symbols. He use them for events, objects and characters. For example; Jack represents anarchism, conch shell represents democracy; but sometimes when you read this novel it seems very hard because if you don’t see behind of the events and characters you can’t understand what’s going on in novel. One thing I honestly don’t like, is selection of the words. Author choose some hard words and also we can see unnecessary words, so that time to time you don’t want to read the story any more. Golding choose the children as characters because if he choose the adults as a character, story will be more wild and boring. Although theme of the book selected intelligently . Theme of the book is weakness and innocence of human. Everyone makes mistakes. Golding wanted to show us in his point of view. I’m happy for reading this book, because it changed my opinion on human beings’ behaviours.
ReplyDeleteLord of the flies is an important noval to show that the real beast is inside us. This noval proves that laws are directing us. This noval is about a group of boy whose plain feld down an island. There is no body except these boys. There ages between 5 to 16. No law no rules. They started to live in a wild way. They hunt, they kill and they destroy. They do what they can’t do in an ordered life. The noval has movie also however I suggest to read the book because it is relly different then book.
ReplyDeleteThe lord of the flies is a novel by Willam Golding. It is a great book with lots of metaphors and symbols that the readers could think about while reading. It is about of a group of kids that land on an island after their plane crashes on the ocean. With no grown ups to support and guide them through. With time the kids go wild and savage. They loose their rules and identity to savagery. The kids seperate into two groups Jack the savage and Ralph the civilized. In time the kids start to think that they aren’t alone and see things that arent there. They think that there is a beast and they start calling it beasty. And in time they start to kill there own friends. This book is a wonderful portait of human society and how humans change and adapt though time in desperate times.
ReplyDeleteI’ve recetly read the novel ‘ lord of the flies’ by William Golding and when I red this book, I saw some really things that we don’t know. First of all it seems it’s about childlife but when you go deep you will see some secrets under the characters in the book. Maybe you will find yourself in some characters and you’ll see you mistakes in someone’s life. Novel started with two boys. Then they found other boys and they tried to survive untill someone found them. At the first time there were nothing but after started some problems with boys who they are chefs. Book is symbolizing events that came from past and it exectly show us differences evil and good. So I think you can read this book to find yourself.
